and this post is just a quick catch up. Firstly congratulations to the 55 Fabric Frolic winners for 2008.
Jeanette Barnden of Croydon Hills won 1st prize of the sewing machine and Leanne Brooke from Launching Place won the 2nd prize of the Ott Lite. The other prize winners came from far and wide and their prizes included bundles of fabrics, books, patterns templates and other notions.
June from LIlly Patches in Boronia is holding up really well after all her stock was smoke damaged due to a fire in the shop next door which happened right in the middle of the Frolic. She has a great support network in the quilting community and hopefully she will be trading again very soon.
Last Monday we received a phone call from Expertise Events that a stand was available at AQC and did we want it. Of course we said yes. It's going to be great to catch up with everyone again
Our classes are back in full swing, and tomorrow will be the first of our Sylvia’s Bridal Sampler sit and sews for the year. We have 4 new SBS’s joining us tomorrow and some special visitors. Our small shop is going to be bursting at the seams. I can’t wait it’s going to be great fun.
Cheers, Sandra and Lesley
