I’ve procrastinated about writing this blog long enough. I am much better at talking than I am at writing. Ideas jump around in my head I just have trouble with the written word. Usually by the time I get around to what I want to say the moment has passed, this is especially true of a few email lists I belong to. Well enough waffling. I’ve had three days away from the shop and it’s been great. I’ve managed to catch up on some housework, do some cooking (my freezer was very bare) and some sewing.
Borders on Citrus Crush by Janelle Wind
Raw edge applique from Helen of Hugs n Kisses
A belated birthday gift for my friend Sue
A chenille cushion for Lesley for the shop
I also made some blocks for Margie's Quilts of Hope. I will add these to the Margie's Album as soon as I photograph some more blocks that have arrived at the shop. Blocks are due to us by August 1. Thank you to all who have participated so far.
It was great to work on and finish some projects. I always get very inspired after going to Victorian Quilters Showcase and the Craft Fair. We are off to it tomorrow we spend the whole day browsing. I just love it.
A week or so ago we received an award from Kerry and Julie who both have a blog called Provincial Patch. Thank you so much for your kind comments.
Lesley and I will be back with our awardees (is that even a word) soon.
Well I'm off to sign up for Quiltygals Sleepover Quilt In. I am minding my two and a half year old grandson tonight at my son's house so I thought it would be a fun thing to do for a few hours
Bye for Now.....Sandra
