Hi all you fun lovers.,

We still have some seats available for our Fabulous Fun Night on Saturday 8th November. Christmas at Foothills

Bring a friend or two or mum or both to join in a great night of Show & Tell of any classes you have been working on from the shop (doesn't matter if not completed). Even if you haven't been part of a class don't be shy, our Show & Tell is one of the highlights of the evening.

Delicious Finger Food, maybe a quizz,  Ramona's Secret Santa Swap, bring along a Christmas Stitchery to work on.

Door prizes and lots more.

Oh! and our infamous Mother Christmas will be there with bells on.

Have been back for...

a little over a week, but sadly no time for blogging.  Lots of good intentions but all I have managed so far is uploading photos here and there. Last Friday I spent most of the day at Glen Harrow (I had to leave early to get Amelia to a clothes sewing class) where Rosie and Leanne hold their annual Stitch In.  As always Rosie and Leanne outdid themselves each year gets better and better. As a last minute thing a few ladies came to the shop at the end of the day on Saturday and Sunday.  For those who came thank you for your patience we'll be better organised next time.

This term's classes are in full swing.  On Monday we had our Sylvia's Bridal Sampler get together.  I did try to take a photo of the group working away but of course in my rush they turned out blurry however I did manage to get some photos of some of the blocks that the girls are working on.  Of course some were a bit shy and letf theirs at home.  Janet is well on the way with her blocks and will soom be able to put the first 4 rows together so that will be an exciting milestone for her. Cathie's quilt is away at the quilters, I can't wait to see it finished.  My blocks are on the back burner at the moment I think that the Christmas holidays will have to be my catch up time. 

Yesterday Gail held her first class for her hexagon basket, 2 hours flew by and I didn't get a chance to take any photos but from what I saw everyone was well on their way. Our more spacious class room area seems to be working really well.

Hi Everyone,

School Holidays are a funny time in the shop, it's quiet at times, but then this last week has been quite busy, our locals are gradualy drifting back from holiday, but we get quite a lot of visitors from all over the place, and we sell a geater variety of products at this time, which makes it interesting for us.  It was great to meet up with friends Raelene & Estelle from their shop in Koo Wee Rup and compare notes.  We had a good chat.

Lots of the girls have been coming in with "Show & Tell".  I have taken some pics, and will put them on the blog as soon as I get a moment.  It's great to see their finished items and they are very happy with what they have achieved, and gratifiying for us as teachers.

While Sandra is enjoying the heat at Alice Springs, I've been holding the fort, getting our bumper issue "snail mail newsletter" out.  Whilst that was happening boxes of fabric have been arriving almost daily, as they tend to do at the end of the month.  We really do have a mixture of styles, a lovely Christmas range Royal Holiday, dark greens, red/burgundy, creams with green snowflakes and baubles.  Tiny Tots, an antique childrens collection, some repro's to add to our collection  and a one off fabric Lilacs & Lace for all the garden lovers.

Thanks to everyone for all their patience with me this last couple of weeks, I have had a horrible virus  with a sore throat, then a bad head cold, it's taking ages to dry out.  Thanks Kleenex for Aloe Vera tissues I would have been Mrs Rudolph without them.  If I blow my nose much more I'm sure I'll do some damage, and on that note I'll say " goodnight."
