Catching up

Another glorious day in Melbourne I plan on going for a nice long walk a little bit later.  I hope Lesley is making the most of the great weather while recovering from her op and doing her leg exercises. Just a reminder that we are open this Saturday with normal trading hours of 9.30am to 2.30pm and will be closed next Monday November 1 and Cup Day Tuesday November 2.

Last Tuesday Gail held a class for her Little Bird Block Keeper.  We’ve had 3 finishes already from Sue, Nantje and Janet. I'm sure you'll agree they look great.

 
 
 
 
We have added an extra class on Friday 19^th November, and also have vacancies for the evening class on Wednesday 10^th November.  If you are interested please phone the shop on 9754 6166 for requirements and pattern for the stitchery which needs to be completed before class.

More news on Leanne’s new magazine Vignette.

 

It seems we won’t have to wait long after all as copies should be in the shop next week.  We are delighted that Leanne will be joining us at the shop  on Friday 3^rd December at 7.30pm for magazine signing. We’ll have more details when Leanne returns from Houston.

Hello Everyone,

What a great weekend it has been (actually 2 in a row my team won the Grand Final last week as if everybody didn't know.)  What about the glorious weather? We have been so blessed, in Spring you never know what to expect.

It seems everyone is talking about Leanne Beasley's new magazine Vignette, what a great concept and I'm sure it will be very popular for her, can't wait to see it launched at Melbourne Quilt Market in November.  Yes, Willy  your request has been duly noted.  You will be 1st in line for a reserved copy.

Well I took home quite a few projects to either finish or get started on Saturday what do I pick up first, an idea I had for some new fabrics that have just arrived Rue St.Germain by Robyn Pandolph or a fantastic Block of the Month that we just drooled over on Friday when it arrived or maybe I should finish off a few of my projects, but I still haven't begun my Christmas stitchery for Foothills exchange due to be finished early December.  What do you suggest?  Be nice.
