Jennifer loves sharing her tips and setting designs for blocks using Sue Daly's popular method of working with papers and a Sewline Glue Pen. Wow what a fantastic Saturday night 7 of us enjoyed, creating our 1600 quilts from jelly rolls. 2 Christmas tops were completed, a French General, a soft & pretty, 2 childrens and another Christmas one near completion. They all looked so different. We dished up Pizza, champagne and a gorgeous fruit flan with tea & coffee potato chips and lollies to keep our energy up. Thanks Ramona, Hermoinne, Julie, Caroline and Pauline for a fun night. Join us next term for another fun night. Lesley and Sandra

Happy New Year

to everyone.  Hope you all had a very festive Christmas and now doing all the things you want to during the holiday. It is so hot not looking forward to tomorrow, would love to be in my pool, but with about 12 months of neglect it takes a bit of work to bring it back. However I am enjoying being home. Lots to do including packing away decorations, lots of reading to catch up on, visiting and maybe a little sewing and some drives down to Flinders and Balnarring and maybe Sorrento to our favourite cafe, that's just a few of my favourite places. Get some fish & chips and enjoy them on the beach.

Thought I would share a couple of our decorations with you before we pack them away. A lot of you know I love Snowmen, can't believe how many we now have in all different forms. Happy Holidays, Lesley

Christmas Hours

Hello Everyone.

Are we all looking forward to the next couple of days?

Hope you are all relaxed, with Christmas presents wrapped, food shopping done and ready to put your feet up.  I can hear you all saying "who is she trying to kid?"

Anyway I meant to do this post a few days ago.

We are closed today at 1.00pm

Re-open 9th January 10.00am - 4.00pm Mon to Fri

Sat 10.00am - 2.30pm until Fabric Frolic Friday 20th January.

Then Fabric Frolic hours more about that later.

Trunk Show Reminder

Just a quick reminder for those that have booked into Anni Downs from Hatched & Patched Trunk Show it is on tomorrow night Thursday 24th at our shop.

Time: 7.00pm for 7.30pm

Parking at front of shop for the early birds, or around the corner in Walter St., or across the road in the primary school car park. 

Please bring along Show & Tell of any Hatched & Patched project. I'm sure Anni would love to see them.

Hi Quilters,

"My Favourite Things", Anni Downs from Hatched & Patched range of fabrics has just come in.

It's really pretty, soft pinks, green, beige, caramel, raspberry and a lovely shade of blue.

We have been waiting for this popular fabric for awhile, so now to make something before it all goes.

Mystery Quilt....

A couple of weeks ago Michelle called into the shop with a quilt that she had just picked up from her Quilter.  It was the mystery quilt that Ramona designed for a class. We had a lot of fun, you can see what we got up to here. 

Coincidentally Willy finished hers as well and I was able to get a couple of snaps before her top went to be quilted.

As I am having trouble uploading more than one photo per post I have created an album Mystery Quilt, where you can see their quilts, as for mine well .....you can check out my progress on my blog
